Our Captains
Many of our captains have come “through the ranks” at Allen Marine Tours, progressing through passenger service representative, naturalist and deckhand positions before earning their Captain’s License.  Our captains are exceptionally well-trained and knowledgeable about our Southeast Alaska environment; several have been with Allen Marine Tours for 15 to 20 years.

Our Crew
We fondly refer to our crew as our “professional marine mammal junkies” – during the winter months, many of them follow marine mammals to other parts of the world.  Don’t be surprised if you find one of our naturalists working during our off-season in Hawaii, Mexico, the Caribbean, the Antarctic, or wherever else marine mammals are known to gather when they’re not in northern waters.
